PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain high standards of personal and interpersonal functioning in job performance.

To supervise the use of the OWL Center by Louisiana Methodist Children's Home youth and staff, and non-Louisiana Methodist Children's Home clubs, groups and agencies on weekends.

Provide programming utilizing OWL resources, programs focusing on team building, leadership, and group dynamics.

Responsible for OWL recreation facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Perform routine assembly, inspection and maintenance of challenge course.

To facilitate outdoors and recreational activities as directed by OWL Director.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a High School Diploma with experience in program planning, recreation or a related field. Must have or be able to obtain a chauffeur's license.

Must possess a strong sense of personal authority, maturity and integrity for leadership role with staff and youth.

Must be skilled in conflict resolution, mediation and problem-solving skills.
